Terms of Service | BidCompass

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BidCompass platform at bidcompass.in. By registering or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Platform Description

BidCompass is an AI-powered tender intelligence platform that helps Indian businesses discover government tenders, check eligibility, and generate bid documents. The platform operates on a wallet-based prepaid model.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate company information during registration. Each company account is activated after admin review. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Sharing credentials between companies is prohibited.

3. Wallet & Payments

AI services (tender analysis, document generation, BOQ estimation) are deducted from your company wallet
Wallet top-ups are processed through Razorpay and are non-refundable
A monthly platform fee may apply as per your subscription plan
Service pricing is displayed before each deduction; you can cancel before confirming

4. AI-Generated Content

Documents and analysis generated by our AI are provided as drafts and suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated bid documents before submission to any government portal. BidCompass does not guarantee the accuracy of AI analysis or the success of any bid.

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all company data, tender documents, and BOQ entries you upload. AI-generated documents (cover letters, declarations, compliance matrices) become your property upon generation. BidCompass may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve its AI models.

6. Prohibited Uses

Submitting false company information or forged documents
Using the platform for bid rigging or cartel activities
Attempting to bypass wallet deductions or exploit system vulnerabilities
Scraping or automated access beyond normal platform usage
Sharing login credentials with unauthorized parties

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for losses due to portal downtime, tender deadline changes, or government portal unavailability.

8. Limitation of Liability

BidCompass is a tool to assist your bidding process. We are not liable for bid rejections, missed deadlines, or any financial losses arising from use of the platform. Maximum liability is limited to the wallet balance amount paid in the preceding 12 months.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for more than 12 months. You may request account deletion by contacting support@bidcompass.in.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
